Today, the beverage industry uses both shrink wrapping and stretch wrapping for 1200 x 1000 and 1200 x 800 mm pallets. However, an increasing number of manufacturers are now using 1/2 and 1/4 pallets (display pallets) as well.
Large variations in product dimension - ranging from 0,25 l to 2 l - have led to increased demands on both stability and performance.
The many advantages of stretch hood wrapping has made this technology the most obvious solution for packaging of beverages whether contained in cans, glass bottles, PET bottles or Tetra bricks.
