 Packaging solutions
The building industry covers a wide range of products varying from bricks, tiles and roofing over cement and mortar to wooden floor and wall panels. There are large variations in product shapes and sizes – from the small 450 x 450 mm brick pallets in Denmark, the 980 x 980 mm brick pallets in Germany to the 1000 x 1000 and 1200 x 800 cements pallets throughout Europe and to the American alternative the 42 x 42" pallet.
Historically, the building industry has used relatively simple packaging from non-packing to stretch and shrink film. However, the demands for end-of-line packaging are increasing and today's product range is more comprehensive than ever which means increased demands for flexibility.
Furthermore, the demands for low-cost wrapping and environmentally friendly wrapping processes have led to an increasing interest in energy and material consumption. This has led to the fact that the building industry is now requiring high quality stretch hood and shrink wrapping machines offering high capacities and optimum load stability at low costs.
Stretch Hood is:
- High capacities of up to 180 loads/hours depending on product size
- Optimum load stability due to both horizontal and vertical holding forces in the film
- Dust and waterproof packaging
- Optimum product presentation due to the transparent film
- Wrapping with perforated film designed to let out condensate
Shrink wrapping is:
