 Packaging solutions
Pallets loaded with packaging materials of various kinds are often very instable and need to be wrapped properly to provide protection, to stabilize them for shipping, handling and storage and to keep the products free from dust and moisture.
From time to time, the packaging industry experience pallet loads, which have been inadvertently wrapped too tightly, causing the packs to distort and damaging the trays and the bottles/cans/containers stacked within. We therefore do not recommend stretch wrapping as wrapping solution for packaging material.
Depending on your products, we recommend either shrink wrapping or stretch hood wrapping, both methods wrapping with film hoods providing a five-sided product protection.
Stretch Hood is:
- High capacities of up to 180 loads/hours depending on product size
- Optimum load stability due to both horizontal and vertical holding forces in the film
- Five-sided protection
- Dust and waterproof packaging
- Optimum product presentation due to the transparent film
Shrink Wrapping is:
- High capacities – depending on machine type - ranging from the manual Shrink Frame over the Combined Shrink Unit to the High Speed Shrink Wrapping Line
- Improved load stability
- Five-sided protection
- Dust and waterproof packaging
- Optimum bottom shrink ensuring optimum hold between pallet and load
